A wonderful archipelago
The Lofoten Islands are famous for their unique natural topography. The archipelago consists of numerous of fjords, spreading across 400 kilometers of mountains in the ocean. The dispersed islands allow tourists to appreciate the various shapes of mountains.
Norwegians have great respect for nature, and when visiting, you can understand why. It is almost as if you have left Earth and landed on a little piece of heaven. And if you are curious enough, you can easily find eagles, otters and plenty of moose.

Fishing villages
The islands are full of fishing villages, fully equipped with workshops to dry herrings. The unexplainable smell makes it quite unique. What is more, some villagers live in stilt houses at the edge of the Arctic Ocean! To top it off, you could also spot grandmothers leisurely practicing cross-country skiing and sledding. The residents of the fishing village seem to live in harmony with nature and far from stress of a city life.
