23 exited children rush out of the University building and yell out: Party! It is the first enumeration for the student carnival Lundakarnevalen 2014. The enumeration takes place once a month until the carnival starts in May.
“The purpose of this is to remind Lund and the rest of the world that the carnival starts soon,” says Clara Luthman, the carnival committee’s Head of Communications.
The enumeration is a new concept for the carnival. Before previous carnivals there has been a countdown where a number is announced, but now there’s an enumeration where a word is revealed each time and later entered into a crossword puzzle.
The first enumerator stayed true to the theme “Carnival of the future”, being the carnival-goers of the future – the children.
