The information about admittance for this year’s studies during fall has landed. Then it is all about being alert to get a housing. The alternatives are, however, more than you may think of.
AF Bostäder In Lund AF Housing (AFB) has about 5800 housings for students. Half of them are rooms in connection with a hallway. To immediately get access to a place to live you have to sign up the day you receive the information about your admittance. The faster you do this, the faster you will get priority over others.

The Nations The student nations in Lund have their own accommodation queue. If you’re an active member of your nation it is often easier to get a room, but the rules are worth checking carefully (läs mer här/read more here). Talk to the housing manager at each nation.

BoPoolen The students’ own accommodation department is responsible for letting private housings. There is no queuing system at BoPoolen. The arrangement is handled through their web page. Here you can put ads looking for or letting a room. At the moment there are 82 ads on the web page.

Foundations and religious communities There is also a lot of student rooms run by foundations, religious communities or the National Property Board (Sweden). As some of these places to live aim at either male or female students, you have to read the small print.

Do you mean ’cope with your situation’?
