Man bared himself in front of horses
A man pulled down is pants and exposed himself in front of horses at Lund’s civilian riders association this Sunday. According to Ann Lindvall, detective inspector, it’s not the first time it happens.
“The staff at the riding school has seen him five or six times in one month’s time”, she says to Sydsvenskan.
A witness made a report, but the police in Lund says it’s no crime to expose oneself in front of horses. According to them, the report will probably be closed down.
The Church of Sweden keeps losing members
54 438 people chose to leave the Church of Sweden last year. The total number of members now stands at 67,5 percent and it keeps dropping. Bra In Malmö, internal statistics shows that the number is less than 50 percent.
“We have a negative generation change contributing”, says analysis manager Jonas Bromander at the church’s national office.
In 2020, the Church of Sweden predicts that the followers will be one million fewer viewed from a ten-year period.
Boy threatened principal for confiscated laptop
A 12-year-old boy in Varberg is suspected of having threatened his principal when he wasn’t allowed to use his school laptop for a week. The school believed he had abused the computer by hacking someone else’s account on Facebook and therefore confiscated the laptop. The boy became upset and threatened the principal via text message, email and Facebook. The school has reported the incident to the police, but since the boy is underage, there will be no investigation. The matter has now passed on to social services.
Pippi Longstocking’s parrot survived the fire
There was a fire caused by an error in a heater inside the zoo at Malmö’s Folkets Park this Sunday. Fortunately, the fire wasn’t big and could be put out quickly by emergency services. Among the animals who lives there is the parrot Douglas, 46 years old. He portrays Rosalinda, Pippi Longstockings fathers parrot, in Pippi in the South Seas. Him and the other parrots were exposed to smoke, but did manage without any serious damage.
