There’s an old Adriatic legend about seagulls. The legend says that each seagull represents a kiss that Mother Nature was sending to the people. They would help the local fisherman’s in their work and bring joy in the life of  the local kids. Everybody loved them. They represented the love they got from her. But one day, the people offended Mother Nature, so she refused to send her kisses. She was sad, but determined to teach them a lesson.  Fishing wasn’t suffering that much, but the joy could not be replaced.

Years passed… The kids grew up. Mother Nature’s anger apparently grew smaller.

You see, her kisses are back. Flying in perfect circles above the blue sea waters.. Above our heads. Bringing us joy again..

If you believe the legend, she loves us again. We must not waste that… We must keep her love, and her kisses. We must love her back.
