Lund is beautiful. But what is there to do when the student environment starts to bore you? Meet the locals and find your new favorites.

Leif Norrby is a construction worker in

Lund and in Malmö. He is 29 years old and he has been living in Lund for five years.

”My favourite place is India Däck, I go there almost every day and I know a lot of people there. They sell coffee and some snacks as well as books. Moreover, everything is at a very low price. I usually don’t go out to eat, but if I do, I go to Avesta pizzeria. It’s close to my place and they serve nice regular pizza.”

Mikael Jonströmer has been around in Lund for three decades. He is in his fifties now and worked for Astra Zeneca until recently.

”I definitely recommend Stadsparken. It’s a small oasis in the city. With its café and with Mejeriet nearby you can spend a very nice time to relax there. It’s perfect for a walk, a coffee, a beer and music. Now with the good weather coming, Mejeriet will have very good outdoor concerts in the evenings.

For a dinner, Gattostretto is my favourite restaurant. It’s run by an Italian-Swedish couple. They have great food, quite nice prices and a cozy atmosphere. On the top of all this, in the basement you can find the ruins of an old church from the 11th century. It’s gorgeous!”
