Dance with us … like crazy!

Thanks to a study project Lund became a huge dance floor for over 40 students on Saturday.

A whistle is blown and a students, whom a second before were just walking and chatting through Lilla Fiskaregatan, start to rise their arms, jump around, swing their hips and shake their heads to a beat, nobody else is hearing.

I run from the shop window to the middle of the road, some nice Drum ‘n’ Bass in my head. My friend joins me. She seems to hear some Austrian folksong; she grabs my arm, and we both spin around in a circle.

Suddenly the whistle is blown again and we continue to walk down the street.

It was the fifth of sixth dance floors that were settled throughout Lund this  Saturday. For 30 seconds we jump around, shaking everything we have. Our motivation is not just to become warm.

All dancing spectacles are filmed. The scenes will form a video of good spirits and happiness, which patients of the local hospital shall receive.

The event is organized by Share and Inspire, a group of four international Students.

“This is all part of our study project. We are Master Students in Marketing and for this term we need to create a blog and promote it”, says Marco  Zanni and continues:

“With Share and Inspire we want to bring people together, to share happy moments and to inspire others. To continue, we now plan a Free Hug Day in Lund later on this spring.”
