Yesterday night, the first party of the famous overall-parts-exchange took place at the parking of the e-houset.
Every year, the new students get introduced to Lunds University. And of course, lots of partys take place at this time. Yesterday night, the first partywhere an old tradition was celebrated, took place.
Every division of the LTH has got his own color: Pink for informatics, withe is the color of electrical engeneering, orange stands for physics, yellow for biology and so on.
And every student at the LTH gets an overall in the colour of his or her department and wears it through the time of the so called nollningen, the introductory weeks for the new students. An old tradition of Lund University demands that the new students have to cut parts of the legs of their overalls and exchange them with students from other departments. The following years, these overalls will be worn with pride.
