This morning, water samples have shown that it’s inappropriate to drink tap water right now. Instead, it is recommended to boil the water before you drink it.
Particularly affected by this are Lund, Stångby, Hardeberga, Södra Sandby, Odarslöv, Flyingeby, Flyinge, Gårdstånga, Holmby and Hammarlunda.
An elevated level of coliform bacteria was found in one of the samples. Otherwise, many other samples haven’t shown any elevated levels.
It’s unknown where the bacteria is coming from or what symptoms appear if you drink it.
