How did you get this idea?
“It was during my second year as sexmästare. Without the help and dedication of my section, I would never have fulfilled my studies.”
How has the Union helped you?
“I have had a lot more fun when studying, but more specific, it has also helped me to study during evenings and the like.”
How do you think the money should be used?
“I have completely handed over that task to the section itself, for I trust that they know what they are doing. It is a dynamic organization that is constantly improving. Maybe you can share scholarships with those who need and deserve it.
How does it feel to do this?
“It feels good, of course, and I hope there are many who will be happy and that the money is used to inspire more people to become involved in the section. However, the first salary has not yet arrived so the transaction is not complete, but it will be at the end of this month.”
What are you working on now?
“I am a risk analyst within maritime infrastructures.”
Is your hope that more will follow your example and contribute in this way?
“Well, yes, of course that would have been fun, but I think it makes less of an impact in the bigger sections than it did in mine. But surely that would be great fun!”
