The Aerial line – One of the Many Reasons behind Delayed Trains
An emergency brake operated due to an unknown reason, combined with failure of following protocol procedures, resulted in an aerial line failure between Lund and Malmö. A patch of approximately 200 meters of the aerial line was torn down, causing all trains to come to a screeching halt on Monday afternoon, according to the newspaper Sydsvenskan. A report issued by Swedish Transportation Administration states that the failure accounted for a total of 54 hours in delay. In 2013, an almost identical failure caused an aggregate delay of 942 hours.

Lund Municipality Presents Dance Performances
During the coming fall, there will be dance performances at art the galleries, Lund Konsthall and Stenkrossen. The project is initiated by Lund Municipality and is called “Se dansen” (See the Dance), according to the newspaper Sydsvenskan. The first performance, Phillipe Blanchard This is That, takes place September 18 and 19, and is followed by Studies in Motion, October 4. December 9 and 10, Austrian group Navaridas & Deutinger will give a guest performance at Stenkrossen, and during the Innocarnival November 1–4, Dutch group The 100 Hands will put on dance events on the streets of Lund.

Millions of G-mail Accounts Hacked.
Approximately 5 million G-mail users seem to have had their accounts hacked, according to the newspaper Sydsvenskan. If you believe you have been hacked, change your password. Also, do not enter your credentials on sites testing whether your password is secure.

Expensive “Rain Check”: A Quarter of a Billion SEK
