On the edge of the city, on the edge of perception, we can look out and view the sparse landscape, a viscerally vital part of the rural/urban divide, a sort of purgatory which thousands pass each day as they strive to be somewhere else.

This liminality produces a sense of perspective in the face of monotony and ugliness, to capture an exposition from a certain theme allows you as the photographer to focus on the sense of atmosphere and the details.

For it is they who offer the unique touch.
