The Academic Society will continue to remunerate S-teve’s supervisor, but now only part-time. This was decided at the board meeting last week.

Initially the previously full-time paid position was advertised as unpaid for the upcoming year. But after further discussion the Academic Society’s budget planners decided to reevaluate the board’s recommendation.

“We choose to have a part-time paid official since the task includes work for the local government councillor among other things, and it is important that there is energy left for the internal activities”, says Emelie Hult, senior administrator at The Academic Society, AF.

Emelie Hult emphasizes that the budget would probably have had room for a full-time paid supervisor, but in that case there would have been less wherewithal for production and investments.

“For a committee to employ someone that is full-time paid it also needs to have enough work in order to justify having a full-time position”, says Emelie Hult.

During Monday evening, Vilhelm Hallberg was elected new chairmen at the television station.
