Valborg organizers are discussing possible changes to the annual April party. They desire 100 more workers and an additional 200,000 SEK to manage the chaos that the event produces every year. Asked if introducing an entrance fee for the park was possible, the organizers feared that such a change would transform the event’s image.

The Gerdahallen gym will be closed for ten weeks during the summer. Between June 11th and August 19th, the gym’s ventilation system will be renovated. Other rooms will serve as temporary substitute gyms, but customers will have the possibility to pause their membership from May 28th on.

Many Öresund trains will be replaced by bus on the way to Copenhagen Airport due to repair work this weekend. Between Hyllie and Kastrup, buses will go instead of the train from Saturday evening to Sunday morning, and then again from Sunday evening to Monday morning.

Cases of computer data hacking have skyrocketed in Scania. 626 cases were reported in 2011, compared with only 209 in 2010. According to the police, it is usually very difficult to know who is behind a hacking attempt. The rise in this type of crime may partly be due to the increased use of electronic devices in our lives, as well as people’s growing carelessness with protecting their passwords and information.

Sweden is the worst among the Nordic countries at solving burglaries. It solves four percent of its cases compared with Finland, which solves more than 22 percent of theirs. Police researcher Stefan Holgersson attributes this statistic to organizational changes occurring within the police force.
