A massively drunk captain ran his cargo ship aground outside Kastrup near the Danish airport yesterday morning. The Maltese ship was bound for Riga, Latvia when it hit land, rising an entire meter above water upon contact. Danish authorities are in the process of devising a way to pull the ship free.

There will be no homecoming for Sweden’s superstar footballer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a striker for Italian club AC Milan, is selling his Malmö villa for 30 million kronor. He will not return to the city of his upbringing upon retirement, as he has decided to continue living abroad after his career.

Some Lund residents believe they are paying unacceptably high rents.  Residents of the Häglunds complex on Blekingevägen have seen their rent raised by 50% over the last two years, leaving them to pay significantly more than neighboring tenants.
