No, this won’t be the last goodbye,
Or the last time you hold me tight, promise you.
I carry with me thoughts and memories,
That will bring me back to you, one day.
But for now i have to leave, darling,
I got the world to sail
And the crew is out there, waiting me.
There are many nights to come,
When I will feel lonely and cold.
But the embers of our love
Will give warmth and console.
And I would blow them every night,
So they can glow forever.
If you ever feel you’re falling down
Promise me baby not to lose your faith.
And just let yourself float by
Because the waters of hope will carry you on.
Every time I would fade away from inside of you,
Close your eyes and smell the roses’ parfum.
And half awake half in dreams,
My face you shall see.
The train is coming now,
I see its shadows cast on the wall.
And I will miss your eyes
The minute I step into that carriage.
But i have to leave now,
To explore the seven seas.
